Since I specialize in beach portraits on Hilton Head, most of my clients come from out of town.  For families, these images capture their love for each other at this special time.  For high school seniors, its an opportunity to have creative art made on the beach of Hilton Head and have images that are created in a unique place to them and one that differs from their friends back at home.

This year I photographed Michigan senior Michael on the beach on Hilton Head.  Previously I had created his sisters senior portraits in 2017 on the same beach as the family vacations on Hilton Head on a regular basis.

Michael, who is definitely a fun senior to photograph, is interested in theatre and hopes to attend NYU alongside his sister who is studying film production at the university as well.

For Michael's session, we had one very specific goal.  As this session was to be in the same area that his sisters session had taken place we were to create a portrait that was close to the pose we captured of his sister in 2017.  Mom wanted to display his image next to the 20x30 framed portrait of his sister in their home.  This task wasn't too hard as the area hadn't changed too much and the lighting would be easy to replicate.  Luckily the sky was blue on his session day as well and I think we pulled it off pretty well.

Below is how the portraits will be displayed in our clients home.  With our software we can project the images on the walls of our clients home during the order appointment.  In this case we didn't have a room image from the client as we already knew we were shooting for a 20x30 size wall portrait to match the previous senior portrait image.  Both were framed professionally for the client as well as shipped to their home in Michigan.  

I love photographing our out of town or local Senior portrait clients on Hilton Head.  Each one has always ordered at least one wall portrait and smaller portraits for gifts.  Most will order a 10x30 collage that includes four images along with the seniors name, complete with a frame.  What a great way to display your senior, on the wall of your home, as they will soon be leaving the nest as they begin their college journey!
