It's been a busy summer as usual...photographing many new family beach portrait clients on Hilton Head. Every so often I get to work off the beach...which is actually a thrill to me! A new challenge, a new view and perspective for me visually.
Michelle and her family, who visit Hilton Head annually from Ohio, have had beach portraits taken several times in the past...but wanted something different this time. We came up with the area on Hilton Head below while we were brainstorming for their family portrait session.

"I loved the level of communication and discussion we had as we were making our decision to select a photographer and the detail she provided for what we could expect from our experience. Kellie was genuinely interested in the dynamics of our family and what pictures and combinations suited our needs.
Kellie and I continued to have regular communication leading up to our vacation week, the days leading up to the appointment and the day of the appointment. The weather the evening of our appointment was questionable but she remained in regular communication and never gave the impression we couldn't accomplish our task. She was personable and gave special attention to knowing the members of my family and suggesting combinations of photos that would be beneficial. She remained open to the possibility of shooting at a second site until we confirmed the original location was going to be perfect. Her equipment and props were all very professional.

When we arrived at the studio to review the family photos, Kellie had reduced the quantity to the 'best of the best', which is time-consuming, so we appreciated being able to select from a limited number of only those photos we would seriously consider. Loved the pictures displayed on the large screen. Her studio is casual and inviting and in a lovely location in Bluffton, very close to HHI. The photos were beautiful and I can't wait to seem them after she's edited them!
