Creating Memorable Corporate Experiences Through Photography

As a trained photojournalist and portrait artist, photographing live events has always been a natural fit for me. Since 1996, I’ve worked as a full-time professional photographer, blending technical expertise with a documentary style to deliver clean, story-driven images. Based on Hilton Head Island and working across the Lowcountry — including Savannah, GA — I offer high-end corporate event photography that's genuine, polished, and engaging.

A Corporate Outing on  Hilton Head

This week, I photographed a corporate outing aboard the Stars & Stripes yacht, part of the Vagabond Cruises fleet in Sea Pines Harbour Town. We launched under perfect skies: sunny, breezy, and full of energy.

About an hour later, in true Lowcountry fashion, the weather had a plot twist. Clouds rolled in quickly, and the crew expertly adjusted course. Everyone started the outing dry... and ended it with some excellent stories and slightly soggy shoes. Thanks to the outstanding crew, spirits stayed high, and the unexpected weather only added to the adventure.

About the Stars & Stripes Yacht

The Stars & Stripes is an America's Cup-winning yacht with a proud racing history, now offering corporate groups the chance to crew like pros. During the Crumdale Specialty event, guests hoisted sails, took the helm, and worked together as a team. My role was to document the energy and teamwork without getting in the way (or overboard).

Throughout the outing, I worked with a journalistic approach: staying unobtrusive, anticipating key moments, and capturing the natural flow of the experience. No stiff poses. No forced smiles. Just real collaboration, laughter, and spontaneous moments — the kind of moments that reflect a company's true spirit. I especially loved photographing the energy on deck, where you could see genuine teamwork and the kind of smiles that come with an experience worth remembering.
