How To Use Your Headshot
If you are in business or have been reading my posts, you probably know that you need to have a professional headshot. In today's digital age, headshots are the new handshake.
Like it or not, professional headshots are a necessity. Many businesses know this but some are not sure how or where they should use them.
Most businesses post their headshots on their website. But are you forgetting the other opportunities that will help establish a strong visual brand for yourself and your business? You have invested in professional headshot photography, you have the digital image, now use it too its full advantage!
I have attached samples below off how a few of my Bluffton and Hilton Head headshot clients are using their images as branding pieces.
Sandra Lembo, a local realtor, uses her headshot for Weichert Realtors on her business card (seen to the left above) and on her website under Weichert Coastal Properties. For realtors this is a must-have in the business!
Abbi Keen, Insurance Agent with State Farm, uses her headshot in multiple publications. The top advertisement you may recognize from the Sun Saver Digest, bottom left is from her Good Neighbor Newsletter that I receive, which leads to her online presence. The bottom right is her newspaper ad that runs weekly in the Bluffton Sun. Abbi also uses her headshot in her email signature and mailings to clients and prospects as well. Oh, and she did even have on a billboard on 170!
Bluffton attorneys at Vaux Marsher & Berglind had their headshots created for their website, each with a bio and 'areas of practice' along with their contact info. After having their headshots on hand, they were ready to use in their advertising as seen in the top image which ran in the Bluffton Today.
