So now that you are using your headshot on ALL your marketing materials as I discussed in my last blog post, are you using your most CURRENT headshot? Some of us, including me...are guilty of not having an updated headshot (I will be uploading my new one soon...).
There are varying opinions on the question of when someone needs to update their headshot. For Actors, it is recommended to have a new headshot created at least once a year even if your look hasn't changed. You don't want to bore casting directors with the same old image...even if it is a great headshot, it will lose impact if seen over and over again.
For Corporate Headshots, the key is to never let your image look dated. Keep your look fresh and up-to-date with the newest trends in headshot photography and style. If you have changed your look significantly, in some cases your personal style may change (hairstyle, hair color), you should think about having a new headshot created. You want your headshot to resemble the best version of your current self.
